St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and you know what that means – it’s time to break out the green and get on the scene! We’ve rounded up a list of some of our favorite Irish pubs in JAX to help celebrate the big day. Keep reading to find out where to get a mean green beer, delicious fish & chips or a stout Guinness:

### **Lynch’s Irish Pub, Jacksonville Beach**

Opened in 1994, [Lynch’s](https://www.facebook.com/lynchsirishpub/) is a staple of the bar scene in [Jacksonville Beach](https://findyourjax.dci-test.com/neighborhood/jacksonville-beach/). Although it’s a great place to get drinks even on a regular day, they go all out for St. Patty’s Day. With indoor and outdoor activities, there are live bands throughout the day and a silent disco to wrap up the night.

### **Fionn MacCool’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Ponte Vedra**

Ready to get going early? [Fionn Maccool’s](https://www.facebook.com/fionnmaccool) opens their doors at 10:00 a.m., so get ready to spend the whole day in the “Emerald Isle.” Not only will there be live music, but the celebration will also feature $6 Green Guinness Blonde specials, Irish dancers and pipes & drums, too!

### **The Stout Snug, Jacksonville**

[The Stout Snug](https://www.facebook.com/thestoutsnug) in [Murray Hill](https://findyourjax.dci-test.com/neighborhood/murray-hill/) is a homey, yet eclectic Irish pub with a great selection of food – from the cottage stout pie to the Irish chicken pasta, you’re sure to be satisfied. This St. Patty’s Day, they’ll have the Jacksonville Pipes & Drums to kick off the day, followed by local bands and live music. Get ready to rock with a Tully in hand as [Blood Sweat & Whiskey](https://www.facebook.com/bloodsweatwhiskey), the infamous Irish punk rock band, takes the stage at 9 p.m.!

### **Culhane’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville**

There’s no better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than at [Culhane’s](https://www.facebook.com/culhanesirishpub). With locations in both [Atlantic Beach](https://findyourjax.dci-test.com/neighborhood/neptune-atlantic-beaches/) and [Southside](https://findyourjax.dci-test.com/neighborhood/southside-st-johns-town-center/), their St. Patrick’s Day Monster Tent Party is a beloved tradition in JAX. Irish powerhouse games, like potato bowling, bingo, poker, shot potato and beer pong; costume contests; and so much more – there are activities and drink specials galore. ### **Emerald Goat, Fernandina Beach**

Known as “The Goat” by locals in [Fernandina Beach](https://findyourjax.dci-test.com/neighborhood/fernandina-beach-amelia-island/), [Emerald Goat](https://www.facebook.com/EmeraldGoat) has an awesome atmosphere and the bar is stocked with more than 70 whiskeys and 90 beers. Not sure what to try? Our recommendation is “The Emerald” – Jameson Irish whiskey, sweet vermouth and orange bitters which makes for a great St. Patrick’s Day cocktail.

### **Meehan’s Irish Pub & Seafood House, St. Augustine**

“Eat, Drink, and be Irish!” is the motto of [Meehan’s](https://www.facebook.com/MeehansIrishPub). Located on the waterfront in downtown [St. Augustine](https://findyourjax.dci-test.com/neighborhood/st-augustine/), locals and visitors love their traditional Irish food and seafood dishes. This St. Patrick’s Day, be sure to try one of their signature dishes: corned beef & cabbage, fish & chips and Shepherd’s pie. Their bangers & mash dish is pretty out of this world, too!
