    Position Summary The Lead Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment while providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to Machine Operators assigned to the production line. This position helps ensure that production goals are met safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. The Lead Machine Operator serves as the first point of contact on the production line for operational issues, assists with training employees, monitors equipment and production performance, and performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues when appropriate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate, monitor, set up, and adjust production machinery and equipment. Lead and coordinate the daily activities of Machine Operators and other employees assigned to the production line. Understands geometry and trigonometry. • Can work independently as well as in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision. • Uses judgment based on practice and precedence. • Proficient in most basic computer file folder operations, email, Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access) • Proficiency in CAMWorks and Solidworks highly desired.
