Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff. Deliver designs that meet safety standards, environmental requirements, and client expectations. Perform quality control reviews for contract deliverables. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 10 years of relevant experience in site civil engineering. Familiarity with permitting processes for both traditional development and energy/utility projects. Proven project and/or task management experience.     Hourly manufacturing position Operates machines that perform filling and packaging functions Reads production work schedule outlining sequence of work orders to be completed. Reviews work order to determine the size of film, tape, boxes, and other supplies have been provided at work stations. Verifies correct product, films, boxes, etc. Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunction of machine. Tracks film to ensure that front and back are lined up properly. Makes minor adjustments as needed. Eye registration, moving scanner and adjusting box index. Ensures that all safety equipment is in place before operating machine. Makes up boxes; loads film; checks product supply; sets up totes and pumps Inspects filled packets to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications. Inspect packet checking for leaks and/or seeps. Seals packaged boxes with tape. Places sealed boxes on pallets and palletize in a neat manner according to pallet configurations. Fills out production work order properly. Start/stop times, down time codes, and packaging material used. In case of jam- up removes front die, removes basic teflon and cleans up jam- up. Operates all filling and packaging machinery Dismantles, cleans, Sanitizes equipment. Performs minor mechanical repairs and light PM’S. Completes changeovers as per production schedule. Performs Material Handler functions, Operator Assistant functions, and Sanitation functions as necessary. Assists in training of other Machine Operators. Participates in meetings and process improvement teams. Performs all PQC (packaging quality control) checks Enters all required data into IQS(Infinity QS) data base Drive yield improvements through OSCAR and other initiatives to reduce losses. Work overtime as needed Performs other duties as requested by Lead or Supervisor. Operates equipment in a safe manner following GMP guidelines and keeps work area clean Supports the Jacksonville plant FSQ and QRMP initiatives on any and all procedures/programs pertaining to product safety. What You Can Expect With direction from the QA Inspection Supervisor(s) and Quality Management perform dimensional inspections on machined and molded components manufactured from internal and external sources per engineering drawings and applicable external standards. Maintains inspection equipment including Vertex and Vectors. Also maintains control of products on hold. How You'll Create Impact Perform first article and final product inspections working from engineering drawings, procedures, and external standards, using typical inspection equipment such as micrometers, thread gauges, calipers, optical comparator, concentricity gauge, and height & depth gages. Perform receiving inspection of Finished Goods and components using typical inspection equipment. Perform component testing utilizing various inspection equipment such as tensile testers, force gages and custom equipment. Complete and maintain all QA paperwork in accordance with established procedures and manufacturing practices including the generation of receiving and inspection records, first article reports, discrepant material reports, QA history log sheets, and document change requests (DCR’s) as required. Ensure all handwritten documentation is clear and legible. Support the qualification/validation of new products/process projects; perform specialized inspections to help engineering develop new products, gages, and inspection methods. Follow written procedures and engineering specifications utilized for inspection and ensure documents are kept current and adequate for the inspections performed. Provide feedback to QA Management on documents requiring updates or error correction. Interact with personnel from departments outside of the Quality Inspection department, i.e. Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, etc, to improve on overall Quality of product entering into the QA Inspection department. Generate Non-conformance Reports for submitted product found out of specification. Coordinates movement/control/disposition of products that are under investigation for non- conformance. Coordinate shipment of Finished Goods scrap for destruction. Generate Quality Hold documents and coordinate containment of affected product. Publish various daily quality related reports. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Using typical MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) create and perform simple data entry tasks and procedure changes as requested by QA Management. What Makes You Stand Out Ability to use typical measuring devices (micrometer, caliper, comparator, thread gages, go/nogo gages and custom gages) and test instruments (pull and torque testers). Experience in medical device manufacturing and / or clean room is a plus. Working knowledge of sampling techniques (e.g., ANSI Z1.4.), Good Manufacturing Practices and other regulatory standards required.
