Responsibilities: What you’ll do Operates a tractor trailer truck that transports product to and from specified destinations. Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate. Ensures delivery-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center or transportation hub. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products. Maintains proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State and DOT regulations. Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab, as well as the removal of delivery-related trash at the store and production kitchen (i.e., shrink wrap, cardboard, crates and pallets). Reports any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues to the distribution center. Serves as the face of NDCP and the main point of contact between the distribution center and the customer. Collects money (cash or checks) where required. Loads customer returns on to trailer and secures trailer doors. Ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured. Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork. Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required. Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.     *Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Landoll / Transport Driver and take charge of safely operating specialized transport equipment to move heavy machinery (scissor lift, man lifts, bull dozers, and excavators) across various sites. Your skills will directly contribute to the successful delivery and setup of equipment for diverse projects, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate Landoll trailers, lowboy, and other transport vehicles to deliver equipment. * Load and unload heavy machinery such as excavators and adhere to chaining and securement - following safety procedures. * Conduct routine inspections of transport vehicles and trailers to ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with safety standards. * Coordinate with project managers and site crews to ensure timely deliveries * Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance records, and safety inspections. * Follow all safety protocols related to mechanical knowledge, chaining and strapping of equipment. *Experience* * Proven experience operating large transport vehicles such as Landoll trailers or similar heavy-duty equipment. * Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with heavy machinery * Strong understanding of safety standards for transportation and outdoor work environments.
