Summary Objective To have basic working knowledge of mechanical equipment and piping installation and the various terminologies, blueprint reading, measurement’s, setting equipment/piping, job specifications, etc., to build an integrally complete piping system. Essential Functions Basic in understanding job specification, blueprint reading, target point measurements and torque requirements for large industrial piping systems. Hands-on, basic working knowledge of Equipment/Piping center lines and work points. Basic proficiency in the installation of various valves, suction diffusers, guides, circuit setters, expansion tanks, pumps, chillers, automatic air vents, pressure regulators, etc. to make a complete piping system. Basic knowledge of all forms of piping system hangers, supports, braces, etc., from temporary through jam nut completion. Moderate mechanical aptitude and problem solver who can understand and follow instruction. Accountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety and health regulations. Documentation of all quality reporting methods employed per SEA Quality Standards Operate overhead cranes and or forklifts, while adhering to industry standard practices of safe rigging systems and techniques. Safely and efficiently direct and monitor two or more helpers. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements and physically / medically qualified to wear required PPE per OSHA standards. Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydro process for 150psi testing, inspections, and safety procedures. Summary Objective To have experienced working knowledge of the Insulated Metal Panel installation, Assembly and the various terminologies, blueprint reading, measurements, take outs, job specifications, etc., to build an integrally complete erection system. Essential Functions Fluent in understanding job specification, blueprint reading, target point measurements, true /plumb /square checking, and any necessary torque requirements, for large industrial structural steel systems. The ability to cut, prep, fit and tack small to large; IMP’s, Flashing, etc., from various material types through true-plumb-square; into weld ready status, using isometric and structural drawings, while adhering to specific fit tolerance requirements. The ability to properly select, measure, hand dress, and cut with grinder, power saws, hand tools, etc., as necessary to prepare IMP process to be completed per job specific requirements. Strong structural aptitude and problem solver who can understand and follow instruction. Accountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety, and health regulations. Operate overhead cranes and or forklifts, while adhering to industry standard practices of safe rigging systems and techniques. Safely and efficiently direct and monitor two or more helpers. Documentation of all quality reporting methods employed per SEA Quality Standards. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements and is physically / medically qualified to wear required PPE per OSHA standards. Responsibilities may require sedentary work, including but not limited to computer operation, video review, classroom or online training, job observations/inspections, and peer work review. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients. Crouching/Squatting Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas. Reaching Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward. You will utilize CAD and 3D modeling software to create simple geometric CAD shapes, complex surfaces, and combine them into large assemblies. You will create part and assembly drawings that will meet industry and regulatory standards. What You Will Do: Generate engineering drawings for detailed parts, assemblies, and installations using SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc. in compliance with standard engineering drawing practices and dimensional tolerancing. Determine scaling, reference datums, center and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning while creating drawings. Convert initial engineering designs and redline markups into precise 2D schematics and 3D models. Process drawings through configuration, classification, and approvals. Work with engineers to produce drawings for vendor quotes and customer approvals. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
