    CNC Machinist – Mills & Lathes

    Florida Machine Works is looking for an experienced *CNC Machinist* to join our growing machine shop in Yulee, Florida. We are looking for a machinist - not simply a machine operator. The right candidate will be comfortable taking a job from drawing to finished part, including programming, machine setup, tooling selection, machining, inspection, and making adjustments as needed to produce a quality part. This is a *high-mix, low-volume job-shop environment*. Our work includes one-off parts, small production runs, repair work, and complex components for industrial customers. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining the plumbing and piping systems associated with HVAC and mechanical equipment in multifamily properties. The Mechanical Plumber will work closely with HVAC technicians, Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades to ensure mechanical systems are properly connected, installed, and functioning according to project specifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install, repair, replace, and maintain plumbing and piping associated with HVAC and mechanical systems. Install and connect water supply and return piping for HVAC equipment and mechanical systems. Install, repair, and maintain condensate drain lines and associated drainage systems. Install piping for boilers, pumps, chillers, air handlers, watersource heat pumps, and other mechanical equipment as applicable. Perform pipe installation, fittings, connections, brazing/soldering, and related mechanical plumbing work. Identify and repair leaks, blockages, drainage issues, and other piping deficiencies. Read and interpret plans, mechanical drawings, specifications, and work orders. Measure, cut, thread, bend, and install various types of pipe and tubing. Assist with equipment changeouts and multifamily renovation projects by completing required plumbing connections and piping modifications. Coordinate work with HVAC technicians and other trades to ensure proper installation and sequencing. Perform work in apartment units, mechanical rooms, common areas, and other multifamily property locations. Complete renovation, replacement, and punchlist work in accordance with project schedules and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly secure tools and materials. Follow all company, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements. Communicate material requirements, jobsite issues, and completed work to the appropriate Project Manager or Superintendent. Travel to project locations as required. Qualifications 3+ years of plumbing or mechanical piping experience preferred. Experience with HVAC/mechanical plumbing systems strongly preferred. Multifamily, commercial, residential, or renovation experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret plumbing and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of piping systems, fittings, valves, drains, and mechanical equipment connections. Experience with various pipe materials and installation methods. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot pipingrelated issues. Plumbing license or applicable trade certification is a plus. Valid driver's license required. Ability and willingness to travel to project locations as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Ability to work in mechanical rooms, apartment units, crawl spaces, and other construction environments.     FLOOR TECHNICIAN OVERVIEW: The Floor Technician position exists to provide routine support in the environmental service of residents, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times. This position must work effectively with team members in ensuring that work is accomplished in a timely, effective, well organized, and safe manner, while focusing on delivering quality resident care. The position must also manage the resources that are available to them in their job. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. May be assigned to other housekeeping duties as assigned. Create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment, and assure that the highest quality of floor care services is delivered. Begin every shift with appropriate personal preparations. Maintain physical environment in a clean, safe and pleasant manner. Promptly report any violations of established safety procedures. Perform other related activities as assigned or requested. Maintain and work within established departmental, center and corporate policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, and safety, environmental and infection control standards. Promptly reports any suspected resident abuse, neglect or misappropriation to the DON. Keeps work/assignment areas free of hazardous objects such as protruding mop/broom handles, unnecessary equipment, supplies, etc. Follows proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning. Refer to manufacturer’s instructions when necessary. Ensures all chemicals are locked when in patient areas. Ensures adequate hand washing supplies in all resident areas. Empties and sanitizes ash trays daily. (NOTE: Ash trays must be emptied into appropriate metal containers with self-closing cover devices.) Cleans/polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed. Cleans, washes, sanitizes, and/or polishes bathroom fixtures. Ensure that water spots are removed from fixtures. Cleans floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc. (NOTE: Ensure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties.) Discards waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner. Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Must possess, as a minimum, an 8th grade education / High school diploma or GED preferred.
