This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a manufacturing environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist in sourcing and procuring materials necessary for production and operations. * Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure best possible terms. * Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess. * Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials. * Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records in the MRP system. * Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise. * Support the development of supplier relationships to enhance quality and reliability. * Identify potential sourcing opportunities * Support the development of purchasing strategies that align with company goals. *Experience* * Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred. * Familiarity with logistics and material management is a plus. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRP systems is advantageous. * Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
